E-commerce retail sales for gaming accessories is up by 44% in April compared to March. Headsets are the most purchased accessory, with a 34% category market share and a 65% increase in retail sales. VR headsets sales increased by 14% in April, resulting in a 3% increase in market share for Oculus, allowing the brand to become the 2nd market-leading brand – pushing Sony down to the 4th position. As quarantining continues and events like Father’s Day and Prime Day approaching, we expect gaming accessory demand to remain on the rise.
